Taskbar problems

G

George LaDamus

I am running Windows XP Pro. For some reason, when I
minimize programs, they no longer appear on the taskbar.
It looks like they "disappear" behind the quick launch
icons, and the only way I can switch between open apps is
by using "Alt+Tab". I have tried to unlock the taskbar
and going into properties, but I cannot see how to make
the minimized programs appear. Any suggestions would be
greatly appreciated. I've searched the knowledge base,
but could not find this particular issue. Thanks!

George, it sounds like yo gotta whole lotta quick launch icons, and
you've just run outa room. Unlock the task bar and hover your cursor
on the top edge. When you get the double arrow, just drag the top up
until another task bar row appears. Presto! You've doubled your room!
