Taskbar disappeared

My taskbar has disappeared. More specifically, the part
where I can switch between programs is gone. The Start
button, Quick Launch toolbar, and the Notification Area
remain in place, but the area that contains bars
representing windows is gone. This problem only affects
my account (Administrator). How do I get the taskbar back?
