Taskbar and System Tray icons

Well. They dont work. All of a sudden. The images are fine. I just cant
click on them. (this being the windows currently open and the bottom right
icons). However the start button does work. (the taskbar is not locked)

Has this happened to anyone else?

Maybe try scannow at an elevated command prompt: SFC /scannow
might or might not fix it.
