Task Scheduler

I am trying to schedule a task that runs no matter who is
logged in. I set up the task (I am a domain and
therefore, local admin) to run at a specified time and to
run with an admin level account and password. It works
as long as an admin account is logged in. However, when
a normal end user is logged in (no local admin access),
the task doesn't complete, yet when I log back in as an
admin, the scheduler says the task ran. Will the task
not run if a user does not have local admin rights? If
so, does anyone know a way around this?

THANKS!

What are you trying to schedule, or, are you sure that
it does not use any interaction with the desktop ?
A task that is completely a batch process (no interactivity,
no messages issued, etc.) should run once scheduled
with a sufficient account, no matter what account is
logged in (if any).

It is a program that will back up some user specific
software settings, but you just gave me an idea. Our end
users are not local admins, so they might not have
adequate permissions to the necessary files...I'll check
there first.

Thank you!
