Task Manager doesn't show user info for processes.

For some reason Task Manager doesn't show any user names
for processes.

The column is active. It is visible. In fact only the
System Idle process is given a user (SYSTEM). All other
running processes show up blank. Just starting happening
recently. Only found one other post online even about it
but there was no help there. Just another person annoyed
by it.

What causes this and what can fix it?

Elgonn;

Try this:
Start | Run | Type: services.msc | OK |
Scroll down to and double click: Terminal Services |
Set to Auto or Manual | Click the Start button |
Apply | OK | Close Services
