Task Bar Issue

I recently had a Desk Top Icon in my Quick Launch tool bar and somehow it
dissapeared. Now when I try to create a shortcut to my Desktop and then add
it to my Quick Launch it takes me to the Desktop Folder in WIndows Explorer
in stead of simply back to my Desktop screen. Can anybody help?

Please be patient and don't make a new post about the same subject only
a few minutes apart. I already answered your first post. For
expediency's sake, here is my answer:

If you are talking about the "Show Desktop" icon:

Restore "Show Desktop" from MVP Rick Rogers:

Copy/paste the below into notepad, then click file/"save as" and call it
"show desktop.scf" and drop it on the desktop. You can drag it from
there to the quicklaunch bar.

[Shell]
Command=2
IconFile=EXPLORER.EXE,3
[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop
