Targetting 1.1 with VS2005

Hi!
I've compiled my project with Language Version ISO-1 in the advanced
build settings (2005).
However, I can't run my project on 1.1.
What am I missing?

I was under the impression you couldn't compile projects in vs 2005 for
..NET 1.1 or 1.0. Why this is the case, I'm not sure.

There will be an extension to msbuild that will be released by Microsoft
entitled msbee (Microsot Build Everett Edition) that will allow you to target
pre 1.1 and 1.0. There is currently a pre-beta that is available to a set of

How about opening visual studio 2003 projects? Is this still not

Hi,
I've changed my app.csproj (win app - compiled in 2005) to point to
'Everett.targets' but still it didn't work.
Did it work for you?
