Target designer problem...

L

Lloyd Dupont

I installed XPe evaluation tools and I'm trying to run the Target designer
for the 1st time ever, my 1st XPe build ever, yoohoo!
Anyway, it fails with the following error:

=====
The CMI encountered an unexpected error from the Win32 subsystem. For more
information see the application event log.
=====

What can I do? Any tip welcome!

BTW I found this link:
http://www.eggheadcafe.com/forumarchives/WindowsXPembedded/Oct2005/post24697202.asp

But we don't have a windows network and we don't have network admin as far
as I can tell, hence I can't login as a network admin (which seems to solve
the problem according to the article).
Also when I right click on the Target designer icon, I don't have the "Run
As administrator" option... :-(

What can I do?

went wrong.

found out, on Vista all XPe tools needs to be run with the "Run As
Administrator" option.
