Target account name is incorrect

We have 2 WIN2K servers. On server 2 it can access every
computer on the network. But when anyone tries to access
server 2 you get "login failure: target account name is
incorrect". I've rebuilt the DNS thinking something got
corrupted in there, but that didn't help. When I ping
server 1 and server 2 from any machine (including server
1 &2) it replies with the correct ip.

Any ideas?

Run netdiag on problem server looking for any failed tests. You can use debug
switch to get more info about a test. Could be a dns misconfiguration problem or
a problem with the machine account among other things. Check the Event Viewer
also for any problems that may give a clue. --- Steve
