Has anyone had this problem? About every hour or so for no reason a tapping
noise comes from my speakers. It is the same number of tappes and rythem
everytime.

It is really drving me crazy so would appreciated and help at all.

Thank all,

Hi Uncle,

I tried to find Art Bell on the web and all I came up with is he retired on
7/1/2007.
Is this the same Art?

Thanks for responding,

It is possible that you have a "virtual pet" and it is just
signalling that you have not fed him for awhile. On the other
hand, do other people hear these sounds as well or can they only
be heard by you?

FUNNY MAN DOUG W!

For awhile I thought it was me but then I started to time it and that is
when I found out it was coming from speakers.

Do you keep a mobile phone anywhere near to the speakers. I ask because my
daughters speakers will make a noise when the phone is going to ring or a
message is received on it.
Just a thought

He's semi-retired.

You could also ask George Noory about your problem. He's more
accessible.

MY mobile phone causes the same thing, though it happens just before the
phone rings or just before a text message arrives. It does happen
periodically which I expect is to do with the phone company's transceiver
locating my phone.

Do you have ballon tips disabled? Sometimes I hear the "pop" noise that
accompanies a ballon tip, (which I have disabled), which often means an
event has been logged.

Any chance some other electrical device in the house is causing
interference?

You have a mouse trapped inside, using a very simple and slow code...
