Tables and text boxes?

Neil

Hi
Is possible to have check boxes within tables and text boxes in the same
document?
I have made quite a long document using both but when I lock the document to
use the check boxes I cant use the text boxes and visa-versa

Cheers

You'll have to use frames instead of text boxes in a document
that should be protected for forms; frames allow insertion of
form fields, which text boxes don't. If you unprotect the
document, you can convert the text box to a frame (Format>Text
box, click the Text box tab, click Convert to frame, and click
OK). There is also a very useful Insert Frame button on the Forms
toolbar. (The use of frames is certainly not limited to protected
documents!)

For more information about creating forms, see:

Note that there is a way to use check boxes within Word documents
without using protected forms. Look at the Contemporary Fax
template and see how it's done there!
