Table?

I have four different type of data that is placed in column A(A,B,C,D)
have in a worksheet. The four different types is dependant on the dat
it reads from another tab in the spreadsheet. The problem is that th
number of data units applied to Type A will vary, and B,,,etc. What
want are these results listed 1 after another down column A and all o
the other data in that row. Is there a way to set it up, maybe with
table where It will put all of Type A data listed first, and change th
ammount of rows needed and then list all of Type B starting right belo
it and then C then D.

Example

Data for Type A in January had 4 Items, B - 3 Items

A
Data 1a
Data 2a
Data 3a
Data 4a
B (starts right after)
Data 1b
Data 2b
Data 3b

The next month Type A has only 2 Items, B - 2 Items

A
Data 1a
Data 2a
B
Data 1b
Data 2b

and so on.

I know it sounds confusing, but any help would be appreciated

Hi!

I think I need to see the shape of the data entries in Column A.
There may be the means of sorting /subtotalling it to separate out th
groups.

Could you post a couple of typical entries? And any other things whic
might help with sorting/filtering/...
