{=TABLE... what is this?

I have a spreadsheet which contains the formula {=TABLE(C1,C2)} and the
result has nothing to do with what is in those 2 cells. How can I tell what
this is referencing? Thanks!

KLAOI -

TABLE is an array function that is entered only by using the Data | Table
menu item.

It "references" the adjacent row and column and the two function arguments.

Search Help for "about data tables."

Usually a formula is involed as well. Say for example: You want to
determine a monthly payment with the number of months being a variable.
Variable Term Monthly Payment
Original Loan Info
(590.48) PMT(rate,nper,pv)
Amount 20,000.00 42 (511.09)
Term 36 30 (701.67)
Rate 4% 24 (868.50)
12 (1,703.00)

When the entire table is selected
Including the formula, select Data>Table
enter in this case, column input cell
based on the term. The table function
generates new results based on the
variable/
