Table properties - Borders and table cells

Hi,
when i try to edit my table properties (by right clicking the table and
selecting table properties) the 'Show both cells and table borders' is
greyed out i can't check or uncheck it. How do i fix it?

In Tools Page Options Authoring set your browser to IE5 and make sure CSS is enabled
