Table Of Contents

Hi

I have a document that contains headings required in a Table Of Contents. The problem is, the text after the heading should not appear in the TOC but I can't get it to have 2 different 'styles' on one line

i.e. HEADING 1 This heading contains information about blah bla

The HEADING 1 bit should appear in the TOC, but the rest shouldn't and it does need to all go on one line

Anyone know how to do this?
