Tabbed Pages in a form

I

Imran Ghani

Hi! I am using MS Access 2007 with VBA. I want to create my forms to show
data in the form of tab pages. I want to arrange those tab pages such that
some pages come in front and others behind them. I also want to arrange
those tab form to display in the centre of the user page. I am new in the
field.
I'll appreciate any valuabe help from you which could help me
accomplishing my said goal. Thanks in advance.

Imran,

By its very nature, the tab control is going to do exactly what you are
wanting.

Just add the tab control to your form. Then you can adjust the size and
placement of the control. You can add "pages" (tabs) to the control as
needed and place controls on each of the pages.

As far as "some pages come in front and others behind them" that also is a
basic functionality of the tab control.

Just as a note; be very sure that you have the desired page of the tab
control selected when you try to add your other controls to that page. Many
users make the mistake of placing controls on the actual form rather than
placing the controls on a specific page of the tab control and then when they
try to use the tab control the controls are not shown or hidden by clicking
on a single tab.

Thankx a lot for your kind help. But being a novice in the field. I would
greatly appreciate if you could guide me on the latter aspect of showing
pages forward and back according to our requirement and also to show pages in
the centre of our form. Can this be done? If yes kindly guide me about how I
can manage it. I tried to do it that way but did not succeed. All the pages
come in one line and Im not able to arrange them specifically. I'll greatly
appreciate your helping advice.

Imran,

The tab control allows you to have multiple tabs on your form and users can
select one single tab to view the data associated with that tab. There is no
ability to view more that one tab at a time or to have "some pages come in
front and others behind them" other than the default with just displays the
"tab" for each page.

The tab control is centered on your form by your placement of the tab
control on the form.
