Tab Control Reordering Question.

Ok, so it is common knowledge that in VS 2003 there was a problem with the
tab control in which the designer occasionally reordered the tabs when it
regenerated its code. I want to know if there are any MVP’s out there who
could answer with authority whether this issue has been resolved in VS 2005,
and would they be kind enough to do so? While I could test this out in 15-20
minutes it would be so much more comforting to know that this issue has
actually been resolved

Yes the issue was with the designers in VS2003 rather than the .NETCF
itself. These are all new in VS2005 and it should not demonstrate that
behaviour either in a v1 or v2 project.

You don't have to start a new thread every time. Just add a message to the
end of your existing thread, when you want to say/ask something on the same
topic.

The designer tab order problem is fixed in Studio 2005 - I just verified it.

Gentlemen,

Thank you each and every one for your input.

Peter, thanks for the authoritative answer.

Paul, I appreciate that I don't have to start a new thread just whenever,
but the previous one was poorly titled and went a little too far in an
unpleasent direction, and generally off the mark.

Daniel, thanks for defusing the situation.

Chris, Thanks for the extra effort to test the tab control. Honestly, I'm
familiar with many of your threads and sometimes it is a little difficult
from my side of the box to know where you are coming from. But I will pledge
to improve my newsgroup etiquette if you will work on having a little more
patience with those of us who are not as intensely involved with it as all of
you are.

You all perform an essential service and I appreciate that.

Bill
