System32 Folder and End Programs Wupdater.exe

When I log on to my PC the System32 folder pops up twice
and I have to close the folder. Also, when I log off I
receive the system message End Program, Wupdater.exe and
then after a few moments the Not Responding pop up box.
Any ideas why all of a sudden I would be experiencing
these issues?
