System Volume Information folder - How to rename?

Luis

How can I rename the System Volume Information folder(s)
while maintaining System
Restore Service functionallity?

Can I force System Restore to create some other name for
its folder?

Can I create the new folder and associate it with the
service? Is this association hardcoded in sr.sys?

What about:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001
\Control\ContentIndex\Catalogs\System\Scopes
Location C:\System Volume information

Do you know what accesses it?

Thanks in advance,
Luis

One cannot rename Windows XP system folders.
The naming is hard-coded.
