I recently purchased my PC with XP Pro and Works Suite
2004 installed by the vendor. Whenever I start up, I get
a window saying "Please wait while Windows configures
Microsoft Word 2002". Then I get a window saying "The
feature you are trying to use is on a network resource
that is unavailable. Click OK to try again, or enter an
alternative path to a folder containing the installation
package WORDRED.MSI in the box below."

The Works Suite 2004 doesn't have any such file. After I
click Cancel, I get the MS Word message "Error 1706.
Setup cannot find the required files. Check your
connections to the network or CD-ROM Drive. For other
potential solutions to this problem see C:\Program
Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\1033\SETUP.HLP"

Can anyone help me. I am subsequently able to open MS
Word, after getting the same messages above once again.

Thanks.
