system shutdown?

Hello. I keep getting a "SYSTEM SHUTDOWN MESSAGE" box,
telling me that my system will shutdown in one minute. My
system then proceeds to shutdown. The message in the box
reads, " Windows must now shut down because the Remote
Procedure Call(RPC) service terminated. THis is happening
alot, and its getting irritating, can anyone help? Thank
you, replies can be sent to (e-mail address removed)
