System Restore

I'm running Windows XP, SP3. No matter what highlighted date I pick for a
restore point, the system will not restore. Is this a chronic problem, or am
I missing something?

Your System Restore Points somehow became corrupted. Rt click
MyComputer>select Properties>System Restore>check box Turn off system
restore on all drives. Click
Apply, Ok. Do a restart and reverse the procedure.
