System Restore

Creating a Restore Point on my system seems to consume about 20 MB.

Is that fairly standard -- or is it widely variable?

Thanks.

I just check my restore points, and they range from about from 40 to
145mb's in size. Size can vary quite a bit depending on the amount of
changes made to monitored file types the day the restore point was
created.

Thank you kindly.

That makes perfect sense.

I didn't make any significant changes today so 20 MB seems to be a sort of
minimum on this system -- perhaps.

I don't use System Restore (too flaky for me) but the Registry when backed
up by ERUNT is 30MB on my machine. I have no idea what compression alogrithm
is used by ERUNT. 20MB for an incremental backup, as perfromed by SR seems
a lot to me.
