:) After I posted my comment above, I realized I had forgotten to
add "Why don't you put that on your Web site?" That was good: I took
the opportunity to look through a few more of your pages, and I found
the very one you mention.

So I guess I should have read more on your Web site before this. :)

Adobe 7 (7.0.3 here) loads a lot quicker than any previous version. I was
very surprised when I installed and then used it.

very surprised when I installed and then used it.

I tried out Foxit. It did seem pretty quick, but the search function
wouldn't work for my New Yorker cartoons. I'm not quite ready to make
Foxit the default, but I did add it to the right-click menu for .pdf
files.
