System Restore/Safe Mode issue?

Hello,
I just did a system restore on my computer and now my antivirus program is
stating that I am in safe mode (which I am not). I noticed that it did the
same thing when I had to do a system restore on my desktop. I've spoken with
the antivirus program tech support and help was unsuccessful. Uninstalling
and re-installing the antivirus software still recognizes me in Safe mode.
Does anyone have any suggestions please?

AV program has written somewhere in the registry that your system is in the
safe mode.
Have you tried to deinstall this program and delete every folder or key in
the registry related to it?

Hi,

It sounds like the AV application went into Safe Mode. If the AV
manufacturer can not resolve the problem, I would suggest moving to another
AV application.

NOD32 Antivirus Software for Windows from ESET

Free antivirus - avast! 4 Home Edition Download

This is the best - Free - choice if Internet Explorer 7.0 is installed in
Windows XP.
Free - Avira AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic
