System Restore Points Disappear

Hi,
XP Home : System Restore Points Disappear.
I have tried the solution regarding disappearing system
restore points -
Right click My Computer, select Properties and then the
System Restore tab. Enable 'Turn off System Restore on
all drives' and reboot your PC. After that 1st reboot go
back into SR and disable 'Turn off System Restore on all
drives' and reboot your PC again. After that 2nd reboot
you should have one new SR checkpoint.

I did have a new restore point. I also created another to
be doubly sure. That was yesterday, now today, they have
all disappeared again. Does any-one know any reason for
this please?

Sue;
Many things can cause loss of Restore Points, when they are gone, they
are gone and can not be recovered or used.
Some of the things are:
Available space on hard drive
Computer usage
Space you dedicate to System Restore
