system restore and CHKDSK

I tried to restore my system to an earlier time and CHKDSK came on and The
volume is dirty. CHKDSK verifys the files and indexes, but the volume stays
dirty and the restore doesn't work.

Hi Cindy,

When you say Volume, are you referring to the System Volume Information
folder?

I don't know. It is called CHKDSK and it checks files and indexes. I think it
is the total file system, which is NTFS.
