system keeps rebooting.

I am using win xp and I have installed the windows 95 game panzer general. I
have set the capability setting to win 95 256 colors. However while playing
the game or during a turn the computor reboots and states it has recovered
from a serious error. I have emailed to microsoft but no answer. Also the
game will run fine for many turns but then it will reboot. Help.

Does the system work well when you are not playing the game? If so, then
the game - which was designed for a completely different operating
system - will not run on XP.
