System Information

When i click on system information, I get an error message saying,
Can't Collect Information
cannot access the windows management instrumentation software,
management files may be moved or missing.
Can anybody help me out on this. thanks

Bert i have run into a bit of trouble. When i try to run wmidiag.vbs, from
the command prompt i get an error message saying, wmidiag.vbs is not
recognisad as an internet or wxternal command, operable program or batch
file. can you help. Thanks

Msinfo32.exe Generates a "Can't Collect Information" Error Message:

If that does not help, try reinstalling WMI as Bert advised. Rebuilding the
WMI repository and re-registering its modules helps in most cases.

Bert, i have also tried the rebuild method,but my xp cd is a oem type and i
downloaded service pack 2 some time ago and dont have it my download folder.
Also can you tell me what a slipstream Windows xp cd is. Thanks

Thanks Ramesh and Bert, typed msinfo32.exe in run and got System information
to work.
