System Hibernate fails on one user, not the other

When I am logged into my PC and try to hibernate windows I receive an error
stating "The device driver for the Standard 101/102-Key or Microsodt Natural
PS/2 Keyboard device is preventing the machine from hibernating....".
If my wife is logged in the machine will hibernate with no issues at all.
Any ideas? I tried updating the driver (as the error message suggests) to no
avail

There is a critical update available on the windows update site for
hibernation errors
