system fault

The system DLL user32dll was relocated in memory, the application will not
run properly. The relocation ocurred because the DLL
c:\windows\system32\HHCTRL.ocx occupied an address range reserved for windows
system DLL's. The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted for a new DLL.
How can I restore and remove the error box on start up, everything seems to
be working correctly.

I too have faced the same problem as mentioned by 'Petethebean',

"The system DLL user32.dll was relocated in memory, the application will not
run properly. The relocation ocurred because the DLL
c:\windows\system32\HHCTRL.ocx occupied an address range reserved for windows
system DLL's. The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted for a new DLL."

This error message started after downloading and installing the latest
security update from Microsoft.

What needs to be done? Which is the application that will not run properly?
Which DLL is the one mentioned and who is the vendor? Is it Microsoft and if
so how do we contact them?

Can some body help us with this?

I was checking the threads with helpful posts and i came across, a post by
'Nepatsfan', posting that here -

"You might want to download and run the hotfix available from
Microsoft.

The Realtek HD Audio Control Panel may not start, and you
receive an error message when you start the computer: "Illegal
System DLL Relocation"
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/935448/

Good luck

Nepatsfan"

Hope this helps you Petethebean

Alex.
