System Failure

I just got an error message when I tried to boot up my computer that
\windows\system32\config\system was corrupt or missing. I fixed this error
in the recovery console using Kelley's Corner- XP method. I think th program
novell caused this but how do I uninstall novell...I deleted entries from the
regedit but it still doesn't seem to stop working. When i try to use system
restore there are no restore points created.

Please Help..Greatly Appreciated

If you have "Novell" installaed - that should be handled by your system
administrator.
"Novell" does not just "appear" on random people's PC.
