system crash

ok well when even i am trying to burn a dvd or basicly anything to do with my
cd-rom my system crashes it goes to a black screen with some text onit then
it goes away in like 1sec so i can't read what it says and i have no idea how
to fix this also when ever i try scanning my computer for viruses it some
times restarts as well i have tryed almost everything i can think of and im
not new to computers at all i just happend to have come across something that
has stoped me =[ so if you know of this problme could u please give me a
hand? thanks

Press WinKey-Break,(or start/run 'sysdm.cpl'), click Advanced Tab, Start Up... area, Settings button, Remove check from
"Automatically Restart" On the next reboot, you will be able to read the error that caused the restart.
