System completely locks up.

My system locks up when going to the internet using IE6.
Scan for virus with norton. No virus detected. It has
lock up while rebooting? any ideas/
 
Hi Gregory,

Disable or uninstall all Norton utilities, then reboot and retry - do things
get better?
