Sysprep and Ghost

Hello,

I was wondering if the new Sysprep bundled with Windows Vista can be
successfully used to "sysprep" a computer for use with the latest version of
Symantec Ghost or is Sysprep only compatible with .wim files.

Thanks

when you say "the latest version of Ghost" are you reffering to the beta
version of Ghost 12 for Vista or an older version?
older versions of Ghost are not supported for Vista. the new version is
listed as "comming soon" on symantec website and testers have reported it's
in the final RC1 testing stage..

If you are not installing ghost on vista, then it should work. I just boot up
from a floppy or cd-rom and just ghost the image as normal, ghost really wont
know the difference. Although it is just better to make an image using imagex
instead of ghost. It is just as fast if not faster to clone machines that
way.
