I am stuck with this movie maker software, I wish to find out if you can swap
between hearing the backing music that you have added to specific
sections/video clips (audio from camera) it seems that there is only one
setting for the sound for the whole film which seems really silly, can
anybody help?

Help...how? What....exactly...are you
trying to accomplish?

You can right click/mute the Audio track,
and add additional sound files to the
Audio/Music track.

You can right click and adjust volume.

You can split the clip and mute specific
sections.

You can add narration.

-- I hear what you say, however what I would like to know if you can sawp between an audio track to the sound from the video file within a project. at the moment all I seem to be able to find is a control equaliser between the audio file and sound from video clip, using this you could set it to half way between the two or 100% audio file etc, this setting will then dictate the audio setting for the whole project/video... I wish to fade in and out of audio files and the sound from the video clip e.g. music playing... music fades out.. you can then listen to the sound from the movie clip i.e. the subject talking or whatever then the music from the audio file to take control of sound again.. you see
