SyncToy & PDF files

When I try to sync folders with PDF files over a LAN, it will not copy the
PDFs on the remote computer onto the computer running SyncToy. The error
message says "access denied". Any advice would be appreciated.

I get the same error when trying to sync PDFs from HD to USB drive. The error
message says "access denied".
