Synctoy 1.4 with Multiple USB Disks

I use Synctoy to back up to a USB Disk.

I'd like to be able to rotate disks off-site (I have a number of identical
USB Disks).

Can I do this successfully with a single "set" of folder-pairs, or do I need
to define a new set of "folder-pairs" for my second (and possible third) USB
disk.

Hope this makes sense!

Many Thanks,

Mark

I assume from your question that you'd like to sync the same data set with
all of your disks. I'd recommend using different folder pairs for each disk
otherwise SyncToy may get confused when the disc changes from the last sync.
In fact, if you use SyncToy 2.0 Beta you won't be able to use the same
folder pair to sync with two different discs because SyncToy will recognize
the second disc as a different endpoint and not match up the folder pair with
it. On the other hand, with SyncToy 2.0, you dont have to worry about the
drive letters changing when you plug in the USB disk - the new version is
smart enough to remap the drive letters in the folder pair automatically.

Hope that helps,
