SyncToy 1.4 confounded by subfolder "Archive"

I'm sync'ing up a folder between mem stick and hard drive, including
all subfolders. One of the subfolders in the topmost folder is called
"Archive". For old stuff. This seems to cause no end to problematic
updates. SyncToy insists that it exists in one folder, but not the
other (they do exist). I tries to recreate it. Then re-sync'ing
causes to delete it. Renaming "Archive" to "ArchiveStf" seems to
solve the problem. Does SyncToy treat such a folder name specially?

Thanks.

Hi,

We haven't seen or heard of this issue before. We'll try it out with SyncToy
1.4. Meanwhile, you could try out the new SyncToy 2.0 Beta which shouldnt
have this problem. You should be able to download it from
microsoft.com/downloads.

Let us know if that resolves the issue.
