syncronize trouble !Urgent!

When outlook 2002 syncronize the folders, the inbox and another folder fails. When I look at the folder options and syncronize tab it says that server has 57 messages and the offlinefolder 8, why can't I syncronize them?
also when I try to make a backup on exchange 2003 server it fails when the tape is going to be verified the back up say access denied to thoose folders

Any clue?

It could be that the location (read mailbox/public folder) holds corrupted
data. Recreating the mailbox or public folder could be a solution then. See
if you can make a succesfull exmerge of the resource on the Exchange server.

For more support it's better you continue this in the Exchange newsgroup as
your problems looks at the moment more Exchange then Outlook related.
