Synchronizing to a Device?? HELP!

Trying to Synchronize WMP to my MP3 player

I have tried to get help from both the WMP and the iriver website, the
company from where i purchased my player from, and i cannont Sync my player
to the WMP. It said that a Partnership and Sync Wizard was suppose to pop up
the first time i used it, but it never did. The Player is not being
recognized at all by WMP, it said to look in the drop down screen, but it is
not there. Can someone help me Please!!

I have Windows Media Player 10, and i have the iriver ifp795 mp3 player, i
had already checked to see if the two are compatible, and it says that it is.
But it never asked or gave me an option to go through the wizard that they
talked about to make sure that a partnership is placed. This really really
confuses me and i hope you can help.

After you open WMP, click the "Sync" tab and see if WMP recognizes the
MP3 player. Make sure the power on the MP3 player is turned on otherwise
it may not see/find it.
