I would welcome any recommendations for software that will synchronise

Hello Adrian,

Before we go any further, please let me know the type of email account you
currently use, POP3/SMTP, HTTP or Exchange account.

If you are not in the Exchange environment, unfortunately, the personal
folder files (.pst files) are not meant to be an enterprise network
solution. Therefore, this is not efficient on WAN or LAN links to
synchronize Outlook data between networked computers. For more detailed
information, you can refer to the following Knowledge Base article. Your
understanding is appreciated!

Unfortunately, Microsoft has not released a synchronization utility for
Outlook. We may suggest that you copy the .pst file between the desktop and
the laptop to perform synchronization. However, if the size of a .pst file
may be very large, it could be inconvenient especially that you would
transfer it over the Internet.

As to the current status, you can use one of the following methods to
synchronize Outlook.

Method 1: Third party information
============================
There are some third-party solutions that may help you share Outlook data.
For your convenience, I listed the popular web sites below.

< You may pay extra attention to the tools listed in "Other Tools" and the
solution in "Windows Briefcase".>

Method 2: Manually manage the PST files
================================
You can use the following method to manually manage the PST files
containing Contacts of Calendar data.

- Imported from the .pst file in one profile to another .pst file in a
separate profile.
- Exported from a personal folder in one profile, to a .pst file in another
profile, and then opened separately on the folder list.

I hope the above information helps. If you have any further problems,
please feel free to let me know, I am glad to be of assistance!
