To upgrade from earlier versions of SyncBack simply download and
install over your old version. You should clear your browser cache
first to avoid accidentally downloading the older version.

IMPORTANT: Do not uninstall your old version first otherwise you
will lose all your settings and profiles. Simply install over your
current version. This is an update for SyncBack Freeware, not for
SyncBackSE.

There's always been a shareware version, but there's always been a freeware
version too. You must have been looking at the wrong one, as the link to
the freeware version is slightly different than what was given in the
previous post:
