Symbols swapped around

Hi,

on my new laptop the " and @ symbol have swapped places.

The " shows on the number 2 key and the @ is on the ' key, but to make them
appear in a document I have to use the 2 key for the @ symbol and vice versa.

Does anyone know how to put them back to normal?

Control Panel-Regional settings and change from USA to UK...

It is normal (to those of us in the US).

You are using a UK keyboard with a US keyboard layout.

Change the keyboard layout in Control Panel | Regional and Language
Options | Languages | Details | Settings.
