Switching wav or wma files to mp3, HELP!

Hi,
I am having problems converting wma or wav files to mp3. The files I'm
trying to convert are either downloaded music files or ones I copied from a
CD to my computer. Also, what about converting .cda music files to MP3s.
All I want to do is put background music to a photo slide show. What can I
do? Any suggestions?

Locate and download dbpoweramp software. That will handle the
conversions - note that there will be a loss in quality.

Also, what about converting .cda music files to MP3s.

You simply need software (like Windows Media PLayer) that will "rip" a
CD's tracks to MP3 format.

A .CDA file is merely a pointer to an audio file on a CD that the computer
cannot understand. You need to "rip" the CD and create a WAV file. Use CDex;
it's fast, easy and free. You can also use it to convert files from one format
to another.
