Switching Operating Stems

I have 3 OS loaded on my PC; Win98, Win 2000 and a custom OS.
I know how to change the boot sequence in BIOS to switch
between HD's but this is cumbersome.
Is there a way to switch Operating Systems at Start-up,
that is by holding down a key (F1 thru F12 or Del or End or
whatever), which will take me to a (DOS)screen to select
the OS I want to start?

It is possible to boot some non-microsoft operating systems with the
NT boot loader in Windows 2000.

If you can find no information on doing this with your custom
operating system, then you need a "boot manager" to help. Here's a
