switched to Office 2007- PDA no longer syncs calendar & tasks

I upgraded to Office 2007. My Dell PDA which connects to my PC via a USB port
will sync but the options menu under tools no longer offers me the choice of
syncing either my tasks or my calendar.

How do I fix this?

Start with updating your sync tool to the latest version and verify that it
is compatible with Outlook 2007. Probably in your case this means ActiveSync
4.5
