[Switch] How to choose a server based on a domain name question

Hye all.

Here is my question.

I've got a W2K DNS server on a AD domain on a intranet.
A particular configuration is set on this intranet, and i need to ask two
different dns server based on the request i send.
If i ask http://site1.domain1, i must go on srvdns1.domain1 (i have the IP)
If it's anything else, i must use srvdns.domain2 (for witch i also have the
IP)

The two different dns server don't share the same root in the dns schema.

I cannot change the infrastructure of the intranet :-(

I heard of W2003 dns server, and that it could managed it, but i can't
change from 2K to 2003 at the moment.
I got a OpenBSD box that is configurable if necessary.

As usual, any help welcome.

Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by asking based on the request you send.
What sort of request? Do you mean based on the querying client's IP address
or based on the domain name queried? Win2003 has conditional forwarding
which can be configured to send a request for domain1.com to itself, since
it is hosting the zone, but domain2.com requests to another specific DNS
server, then "everything else" (such as Internet name queries), to an ISP's
DNS.

Can't do that with WIn2000.

I guess you can forward all unknown requests to the BIND server, and let it
sort it out.
