SVHS OUTPUT QUALITY ???

Is there a graphics card that produces high quality SVHS output?

Many cards have SVHS output, but the ones I've played with create a picture
that is not even close to what a DVD player or SVHS VCR produce on their
SVHS outputs.

A tech at ATI told me to buy a Radeon 9550. I took his advice and bought a
new one on eBay, but I'm still not convinced and must wait until I receive
and install it.

Does anyone have experience with SVHS output on this or other cards?

Are you comparing the same type of source, the same DVD for example?

(Ie. don't compare a DVD-player playing a movie and afterwards a windows PC
showing windows desktop graphics with small fonts and thin lines and
borders..)

There is no such thing as a SVHS output, its called S-Video or Y/C connection.
