svchost.exe & msvcrt.dll is causing high CPU useage.

I have a HP TC1000 tablet PC with XP Pro tablet edition.
I noticed that I have high CPU useage (90%+) after boot
up. I have ran several anti-virus and worm removal tools
but all come up clean. I have traced the thread to the
msvcrt.dll. Would somebody help me resolve this?
